Known as motorcycles of motorcycles, Harley Davidson motorcycles remains constant throughout the ages even with the varying style and fashions. William S. Harley and Arthur and Walter Davidson founded the American motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson in 1903. The company produces traditional cruiser motorcycles with V-Twin engines. Popular models of Harley Davidson include the Sportster, Road King, Electra Glide, Dyna Glide and Softail.
The Harley Bikes are ideal for fast rides on the highway. The unique design and the configuration symbolize adventure and wilderness. The engine power starts from 750 cc. This chopper bike is usually meant for sports biking.
So far, Harley Davidson is not yet introduced in Indian Auto market. The renowned brand is now intended to setting up its retail outlets in India by the end of 2009. For importing such bikes, the price may range from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 14 lakh in India, since the import duty charged up to 60%.
